Weekly Results 21st - 27th May13 Handicapper Roy Cooke was on top form in the midweek open, carding 41 points. In second place was 3 handicapper James Lindsay with 38 points, and in third spot one point behind was David Taylor with 37 points.
In the weekend open stableford Aidan O'Connor took first spot with 39 points playing off 22, second place went to 19 handicapper Martin Mailey with 37 points, and 13 handicapper Tony P Griffiths took third place with 36 points.
In our Annual Travellers perpetual cup, which was held this year at Donaghadee and Clandeboye, Conrad Carlin lifted the trophy for the second year with a accumulated score of 76 points over two cards from three. One shot further behind was our club Captain Cecil King.
This weekend Faughan Valley will be hosting an Open Strokeplay Competition on Saturday, whilst on Sunday we have the Happy Landing Open, also this Sunday is the start of our irons competition, and on Monday we are hosting our Captains charity day in aid of Altnagelvin Cardiac Assessment Unit, time sheets in operation.
