ALL NON - QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECTW ITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT ALL NON QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS AT FAUGHAN VALLEY GOLF CLUB & CLUB COUNCIL/COMMITTEE MEETINGS ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
THERE WILL BE A REVIEW OF THE CLUB COUNCIL'S DECISION TO CANCELL NON - QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS PRIOR TO THE DATE FOR QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS WHICH ARE SCHEDULED TO START ON FOR FRIDAY 10thAPRIL 2020
THIS IN NO WAY SHOULD EFFECT THE PLAYING OF SOCIAL GOLF, IN FACT WE AS A CLUB WOULD ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO CONTINUE PLAYING SOCIAL GOLF.
PLEASE SEE THE REVISED GUIDENCE FROM THE GUI & ILGU IN RELATION TO THE CORONAVIRUS/COVID - 19 OUTBREAK.
Advice to Club Volunteers
The Golfing Union of Ireland and Irish Ladies Golf Union ask that all volunteers note, act upon and continually monitor the advice and guidance issued by the Health Service Executive (Republic of Ireland) and Public Health/NHS (Northern Ireland) in relation to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
It is important that we all work together, following the advice of experts, in controlling the spread of COVID-19 infection.
