Congratulations to Ballyliffin Golf Club - North West Inter Club League Winners 2014Winners of the 2014 North West Inter Club League are Ballyliffin Golf Club. The final took place at Greencastle on Sunday 14th September 2014. With Ballyliffin being the winners of Section 1 against Foyle Golf Club the winners of Section 2.
Ballyliffin Golf Club were winners on the day' beating Foyle 5 - 2.
Faughan Valley were runners up in Section 1 following matches against Ballyliffin, Greencastle and Roe Park Golf Club's, Roe Park were 3rd with Greencastle being 4th.
Section 2 runner's up were North West, Buncrana were 3rd with Red Castle being 4th.
Congratulations to Team Captain Cecil King and his two Vice Captains Terry Dornan and John Cleghorn and all the players who gave up of their time and represented Faughan Valley Golf Club returning some fantasic results.
Following the match and meal at Greencastle Golf Club, which had representations from all 8 competting teams, the winning Club Captain and Team Captain from Ballyliffin spoke highly of the standard of golf in the premlimary rounds of the Competition.
A very enjoyable day was had by all.
